Yep, that is how Dick and I are feeling. Excited, overwhelmed, loved, emotional, and so many other things that I can't even begin to think about or describe.
Yesterday, Dick and I made the announcement we have been waiting so long to make; we have been so excited to share the news of our newly purchased bed and breakfast. At times, we couldn't contain our excitement, so when we announced it, many of our friends and family were anticipating the news.
What everyone didn't know is how beautiful the house and grounds are and how peaceful their life will be when they come stay with us: a delectable breakfast followed by a day of relaxing while fishing, reading, lying in the hammock or just strolling around town and taking selfies with Paul and Babe.

With regard to Inn Happenings, our *goal* is to write something every week, but please don't mark your calendars just yet for weekly updates. Some posts will be from me, some will be written by Dick, especially when it comes to fishing.
For now, join us in our pre-Grand Opening fun. Recipe testing, moving drama, my learning how to survive in the snow, Dick being overwhelming happy to be back in Minnesota, surrounded by the lakes and the trees, and whatever comes along over the next several months.
At this point, we are not having our Grand Opening until Spring of 2017, but Dick is taking reservations now for the upcoming Minnesota open water season, starting in mid-May. For the trip of a lifetime book your trip today!
