First off I'd like to thank my wife, Jilly, for all the time and effort she has put into making Lake Bemidji Bed & Breakfast a reality for us! We have been dreaming about owning and running a bed and breakfast for a few years now so don't ever think that dreams don't come true with lots of hard work and dreams.
When we decided that we would open a bed and breakfast, I immediately googled inns for sale in Minnesota. The first one I found was Villa Calma Bed and Breakfast, in Bemidji, MN now known as Lake Bemidji Bed & Breakfast. It was love at first sight and we've never looked elsewhere.
For me to be back in my home area of Minnesota is so exciting for me! Even though I lived in Texas for 9 years, my heart and soul was always back home in Minnesota. Jilly loves Minnesota but then again who doesn't especially in the summertime.
I love all 4 seasons and Jilly will enjoy the Minnesota winter season, I'll make sure of that! She's lived in Texas for over 40 years and is used to really only 2, maybe 3 seasons...and heat.
I will continue my motivational/inspirational speaking as often as I can and as often as I am asked, as it is something I so enjoy doing! You can always see where I am traveling to and speaking by watching this page.
I'm so excited to get my fishing guide service back going again. No one wants to get people on fish more than I do and I promise you an unforgettable fun trip and kids are always welcome!
To be a Innkeeper along side my wife Jilly excites me to no end! I love working outside and I look forward to keeping our Inn grounds blooming with beautiful flowers, the bird feeders all filled, and the squirrels and bunnies well fed.

Alicia was lovely to work with and never batted an eyelash when she was given numerous edits, all because Jilly wanted perfection. And in my opinion, perfection has been received.
