The Inn
Restored in 1999, Lake Bemidji Bed & Breakfast is an approximately 3000 square foot home built in 1904. The Great Room, located on the main level is where you will not only enjoy breakfast, but you can also sink into a sofa or chair and read a book by the fireplace, watch TV and relax.
The view of Lake Bemidji from any of the 6 large windows in the Great Room is breathtaking. Follow the hardwood floors from the Great Room, through the dark oak French doors into the Foyer. There you will find a bookcase filled with an array of reading materials.
From the Foyer or the Great Room, exit onto the wrap-around three season porch. Put your feet up and escape into moments of solitude or sit at one of 3 bistro tables and play a game of checkers.
Exiting the porch, walk out onto a large elevated deck facing the beautiful Lake Bemidji. Stretch out on a red lounge chairs and take a nap or sit under an umbrella and enjoy a cold beverage.
Upstairs you will enjoy a living area where you will find a television, games to play or a deck of card to play a nice game of solitaire. There is also a guest kitchenette equipped with sink, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. Pots, pans and plates, etc are in the kitchen as well. A washing machine and dryer are also available.
The bed and breakfast is located in the middle of a large scenic piece of property surrounded by flower gardens, trees and a turn of the century original wrought iron fence. In the southeast corner of the yard is a bonfire pit. Lie on the swinging chairs, or recline on a lounge chair and relax.
